It’s Over!

The incumbent Senegalese President lost the elections on Sunday, March 25, 2012 to his opponent, Macky Sall.

The man just embarrased himself for nothing.

 

Official Election Results in Senegal

Official election results were announced yesterday.

The incumbent, Abdoulaye Wade won about 35% of the votes while the runner-up, Macky Sall, won about 27% of the vote, meaning these two are going to face off in the second round of election sometime in March. The last time this happened, in 2000, the incumbent went on to lose to the runner-up in the second round. And we all know how history often likes to repeat itself!
